Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a GTS Charters and Outfitters Retail Associate. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail location.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and provide expert advice on GTS operations and apparel.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to create a positive shopping experience.
- Retail Sales:
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail department.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring products are adequately stocked.
- Keep track of low inventory items and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Operational Tasks:
- Perform retail duties, including but not limited to, stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory management and sales transactions.
- Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move products weighing up to 30lbs.
- Perform tasks independently, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work alone when necessary.
- Attention to Detail:
- Pay meticulous attention to detail in tasks such as inventory tracking, order processing, and customer service.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in using retail management software.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to legally work in the US.
