Responsibilities:
- Service commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, self-contained units, reach-ins, rack systems, and more.
- Provide expertise in medium and low-temperature refrigeration systems.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment with minimal supervision.
- Practice safe driving and adhere to safety protocols, using appropriate protective gear.
- Support clients in a 24/7 environment, including on-call duties as needed.
- Work with refrigerants such as 507, 404A, 448, 449, and CO2.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Be open to assisting in other service areas if needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC/refrigeration.
- At least 3 years of experience with rack refrigeration systems.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems.
- Technical training through an apprenticeship, RSES, trade school, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA Certification.
