Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced sales professional to promote and sell specialty subcontractor services with expertise in Subcontracting Services sales (mechanical, electrical, special construction) within the healthcare market, specifically for hospitals and medical centers. The selected candidate will be responsible for expanding brand presence, managing a client portfolio, and developing new business opportunities in the Northern Florida and Georgia region.
This role is responsible for identifying prospective clients, conducting project estimates, and managing the confirmation process to secure contracts.
The Sales Representative must be available to travel to visit clients and projects in North Florida and Georgia
Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractor companies involved in the construction of hospitals, clinics, and medical centers.
- Promote and sell specialized services in the installation and maintenance of MEP Engineering systems and related proprietary products.
- Manage an existing client portfolio, ensuring satisfaction, contract renewals, and the identification of new opportunities within each account.
- Actively prospect new projects and potential clients, focusing on the hospital and healthcare market through site visits, meetings with contractors, and proposal presentations.
- Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and conduct competitive analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team and technical area to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in B2B sales, preferably in the construction sector, with specific experience in mechanical, electrical or special construction services for medical equipment installation or hospital infrastructure systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare construction market, including hospitals, clinics, and medical centers in Northern Florida and Georgia.
- Established client portfolio in the healthcare construction area or related industries (General Contractors, specialty subcontractors, etc.).
- Knowledge of local and international regulations of healthcare facilities.
- Ability to interact with key decision-makers within construction companies, such as project directors, operations managers, and sales executives.
- Capacity to generate new business opportunities through direct prospecting and participation in industry events (trade shows, conferences, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Technical background in areas related to engineering, construction, or health sciences is a plus.
- Availability to travel within the assigned area (North Florida and Georgia) and to participate in site visits.
