Position Overview:
You will be tasked with driving new business growth by recruiting agents and agencies in the Georgia/East Coast region. You will travel across the state, meeting with top producers and agency leaders to present our value proposition, aiming to onboard and bring their business to our company. This role is key to our continued expansion, requiring a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the business development plan to recruit health and life insurance agencies and top producers in Georgia/East Coast.
- Travel throughout the region to meet face-to-face with potential partners, building strong relationships and closing new business deals.
- Present the company's value proposition to agency owners and producers, highlighting our competitive commissions, marketing support, and lead generation resources.
- Onboard new partners, ensuring they understand our product offerings and are set up for success.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities within your region to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, ongoing partner support, and compliance with insurance regulations.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management; preferably in the health or life insurance industry.
- Strong network of relationships with health and life insurance agencies and top producers is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively across the assigned region (up to 75% travel).
- Engaging and personable, with a natural ability to network and forge meaningful connections.
- Persuasive communicator capable of presenting the company’s value proposition in a way that resonates with potential partners.
- Attentive listener skilled at understanding clients’ needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Resourceful problem-solver who can respond effectively to potential partners' questions and concerns.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Fluent both in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of life and health (ACA) products is a plus.
