Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is essential to day-to-day operations and plays a direct part in ensuring a positive experience for staff, tenants, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety protocols, and works efficiently either independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate tools and cleaning products
Perform routine custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and polishers as needed
Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to management
Follow all safety guidelines and cleaning procedures to maintain a hazard-free environment
Assist with light maintenance or special cleaning projects when needed

Qualifications

Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred (commercial, industrial, or residential)
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, including floor care and sanitation practices
Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet cleaning schedules
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
