We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensure that each guest leaves with a smile. Duties
- Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts to customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining space.
- Assist customers with their selections, including upselling additional items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling of food products.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed, answering questions about menu items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe environment for our customers.
- Experience in grocery stores or quick-service fast-food restaurants can be advantageous.
