We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to connect with guests and provide outstanding customer service will contribute significantly to our establishment's success.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests.
- Promote menu items, specials, and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies needed for service.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, particularly during peak hours such as nightlife events or busy dining times.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
