Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing operation of all building systems, equipment, and grounds. This position involves a range of technical tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry work. The technician will work independently and as part of a team to identify and resolve issues, conduct repairs, and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
Essential Functions
· Maintain the appearance of the Clubhouse and Sports & Wellness Center to ensure they remain aesthetically pleasing.
· Ensure the functionality and maintenance of essential equipment.
Duties
1. Responsible for general repairs and maintenance of the Clubhouse.
2. Repairs lighting, heating and ventilating systems as required.
3. Washes outside windows of Clubhouse.
4. Provides repairs and maintenance on the Club’s capital projects as needed.
5. Performs the duties of the Clubhouse Housekeeper during time of absence.
6. Maintains a safe, clean and well-lit workshop.
7. Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the Clubhouse and its premises.
8. Monitors inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair and related supplies.
9. Assists with preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc. as directed.
10. Maintains the clubhouse pool
11. Follows all safety practices and standards.
12. Adheres to all policies and procedures, memos and oral instructions.
Qualifications
1. Maintains CPO License.
2. Proficiency with general tools, including drills, table saws, and other maintenance equipment.
3. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing time and priorities.
6. Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is advantageous.
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required certifications related to safety and equipment operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
