We're looking for a Recreation Attendant to join our team in the City of Homestead.
You'll be responsible for:
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly manner
- Answer questions on policies, hours of operations, and other FAQs
- Check in pre-registered guests or create a new reservation for walk up sales
- Ensure waiver is properly filled out and checked in
- Assist patrons with proper sized ice skate rentals
- Offer guests helmet, gloves/socks, or skating aid
- Assist patrons to stand back up on ice
- Ensure all rink entrances/exits are clear of people and obstacles
- Inspect dasher boards for any safety concerns and report to Ice Tech on duty
- Maintain clean event space: pick up garbage, sweep floors, straighten benches, etc
- Prepare reports as required by supervisor.
- Safeguards assigned equipment and tools.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- 1 year of experience in the operation of an ice rink or in other recreational venue
Schedule: Rotating shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 per hour
