This position is responsible for assisting the director on a 24-hour basis with managing overall operations of reporting department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: executing and meeting operational budget goals and ensuring the continuous performance improvement and quality measurement that is in keeping with departmental policy, hospital and system mission vision and goals. With the department director evaluates, recommends and adjusts the staffing needs of department. Assist the director with hiring appropriate personnel to provide qualified, safe and competent patient care and customer service. Collaborate with the respiratory director and ancillary entity departments to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory agencies. Coordinates provision of Clinical Care Services with other medical functions and serves as technical resource for patient care. Assists with and promotes teamwork between the medical staff, respiratory therapists, nursing and all other entity and BHSF ancillary departments. Estimated salary range for this position is $96,682.12 - $125,616.56 / year depending on experience.

Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Additional Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school for Respiratory Care.
- Minimum of five or more years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care and three years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's Degree and Registered Respiratory Therapist required within 2 year of signing, promotion, or hire.
- Registered by the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) & Department of Health Division of Medical Quality Assurance license in the State of Florida.
