Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role involves providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience in our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience.
- Fine dining experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling accurately.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
