Position: Part-Time Overnight Front Desk Agent
Pay: $18.00 per hour
The Bishop Key West is looking for a reliable, welcoming, and vigilant individual to join our team for a steady, part-time overnight position. If you're a natural night owl who excels in a quiet, independent environment, this is the perfect role for you.
This position is focused on guest service and security, with no night audit duties required.
What You'll Do
As our Overnight Front Desk Agent, you will be the trusted face of the hotel during the late hours. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Guest Services: Provide a warm welcome and seamless check-in for late-arriving guests. Professionally handle all overnight phone calls and respond to emails. Assist guests with any needs during the night.
- Onsite Presence: Serve as the watchful presence for our hotel, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests throughout the night.
- Morning Prep: Prepare and set up our continental breakfast area, (i.e. making coffee, putting out plates and utensils, etc.) ensuring it is arranged and ready for the morning team and our early-rising guests (no cooking involved).
Schedule
This is a consistent, set part-time schedule:
- Days: Every Wednesday and Thursday night
- Hours: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Customer-Focused: You have excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome and safe.
- Reliable & Alert: You are dependable and can remain awake, alert, and at the front desk throughout your shift. You must be able to arrive to your shift on time.
- An Excellent Communicator: You can speak, read, and write fluent English clearly and professionally.
- Trustworthy: You are able to pass a background check as required by the state of Florida for hotel workers.
- No experience is necessary! We are happy to train the right person with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to Lift 50lbs (assisting guest with luggage)
- Ability to traverse stairs easily while lifting luggage (the hotel is a historic building with no elevator and at times you may have to assist a guest with luggage)
