About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Manager to oversee the resort’s physical operations, building systems, and maintenance team. This role ensures that guestrooms, public areas, and all facilities are maintained to the highest standards for guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance operations for guestrooms, public areas, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pools, and grounds
- Manage and train engineering/maintenance staff; assign tasks and monitor performance
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and resort standards
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel/resort engineering or maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Supervisory or team lead experience required
- Ability to read schematics and operate building management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
