Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of our hospitality establishment. This leadership role requires a proactive individual who can manage housekeeping operations efficiently, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hospitality, janitorial services, and industrial cleaning, combined with excellent management skills to lead a team towards operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure rooms and facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address deficiencies promptly
- Coordinate room readiness with Front Desk and Maintenance teams
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when needed
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- Ensure adequate staffing levels during peak occupancy periods
- Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment
- Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure special guest needs and VIP accommodations are handled with care
Skills
- Extensive experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial services within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial procedures
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety standards pertinent to hospitality environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with hospitality operations and guest service standards
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, staff training, and quality assurance
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education preferred
- 2–5 years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory or management experience
- English is required for this role.
- Hospitality experience required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
