Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of building projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople with on-site tasks, ensuring safety, and maintaining an efficient work environment. Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools
- Carry out manual labor such as digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople with their tasks
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Help with site cleanup and ensuring the work area remains safe and organized
- Operate basic tools under supervision and report any safety concerns immediately
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is preferred but training will be provided
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
