We are seeking a skilled Lead Marine Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in marine vessels.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, electrical systems, and other marine components.
- Utilize schematics to understand complex systems and ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct rigging tasks for various marine applications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vessel's needs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a marine service technician or mechanic is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in boat maintenance or assembly.
- Knowledge regarding marine parts.
- Familiarity with electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Proficient in using mechanical tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
