Position Summary:
The Housekeeper / Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. This position ensures that all spa facilities and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vacuum all rooms daily and as needed throughout the day.
- Spot clean and remove stains from carpets.
- Mop marble and porcelain tile floors across the facility.
- Clean and sanitize all restrooms; check and restock supplies throughout the day.
- Clean interior and exterior windows; maintain throughout the day as needed.
- Collect, fold, and supply towels for all bathrooms.
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and woodwork throughout the building.
- Polish wood, metal, or other surfaces as required.
- Clean decks, stairways, and other public areas.
- Remove cobwebs from both interior and exterior areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash inside and outside the facility.
- Perform routine maintenance cleaning such as tile grout scrubbing and removal of handprints on walls, mirrors, and doors.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold towels and linens.
- Provide general assistance to members and guests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or spa attendant experience preferred.
- Ability to operate standard cleaning and laundry equipment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred to effectively assist members and coworkers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and extended periods of physical activity.
