Job Summary
The Reservation Counter Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests by managing reservations, answering inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth booking experience for all park activities. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests, both in person and over the phone, assisting with online bookings, directions, and general park information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests courteously at the reservation counter and by phone.
- Manage and process all reservations, including walk-ins, phone, and online bookings.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding park services, tours, rentals, and operating hours.
- Provide directions and detailed information about park amenities and activities.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and issue receipts.
- Assist customers with cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling requests in accordance with company policies.
- Complete daily reservation logs, paperwork, and end-of-day reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest activities and scheduling.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Uphold safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards consistent with Coral Reef Park Company policies.
Experience
- Prior customer service or front desk experience preferred.
- Experience handling cash or payment processing systems is a plus.
- Hospitality, recreation, or tourism industry experience desirable.

- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with online booking platforms.
- Ability to handle cash, credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, outdoor-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and light physical activity required.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain).
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, and POS system for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
