Part-Time Caretaker (Light Upkeep & Errands) - $32.50 HR
This is a hands-on, light-duty role.
Time commitment:
Flexible, part-time, low-stress. Ideal for someone local who wants easy, consistent work.
High attention to detail is a must.
- Must live close to Mile Marker 80 (Islamorada). This is a local role.
- Must be reliable and responsive (able to handle small tasks without reminders).
- Must be comfortable with light, hands-on work (outdoor upkeep, errands, simple tasks).
- Must follow clear instructions and checklists — this is a process-driven role.
- Must be self-sufficient (this is not a supervised or management position).
Typical Tasks include:
Nothing technical, nothing specialized. If you’re reasonably handy and reliable, this is straightforward work.
- Blowing Walkways
- Taking garbage cans to/from the curb
- Picking up mail or packages locally
- Quick visual checks after cleaners
- Weekly Video Walk though of property for management review
- Squeegeeing windows as needed
- Simple, common-sense upkeep (very light maintenance only)
- Hanging or adjusting small items (hooks, signs, lights, latches)
- Assembling or placing simple household items
- Very basic troubleshooting (checking latches, hoses, filters, etc.)
- Squeegeeing windows and keeping outdoor areas tidy
- Pressure washing small areas as needed
- Taking photos or short videos to confirm tasks are complete
- Noticing obvious issues and reporting them (no fixing beyond basics)
- Keeping sheds and owner closets organized
- Putting new deliveries into inventory
- Putting kayaks back after guests leave
- Helping prepare the home between stays (simple checklist items)

This role is primarily light-duty and task-based.
