The Law Firm of Higbee & Associates, a national consumer advocacy law firm, is seeking licensed Florida attorneys to join our growing network of appearance attorneys.
About the Role:
Our firm represents individuals in collection litigation initiated by creditors. Appearance attorneys attend hearings on behalf of our clients when our in-house counsel is unavailable.
- Materials provided: All pleadings and necessary documents will be supplied once coverage is confirmed.
- Paralegal support: You will be provided contact information for a dedicated paralegal assigned to the case who can provide you with the necessary case information prior to each hearing.
- Flexible contract work: accept appearances that fit your schedule
Your role will be to appear in court, advocate on behalf of the client, and report the outcome of the hearing to our team.

Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Florida
- Ability to read simple motions
- Ability to advocate effectively in court
- Must be internet and email savvy
- Professional and responsive communication
Appearance attorney Payscale:
- In-Person Appearance: $120 per hearing
- Telephonic/Virtual Appearance: $90 per hearing
- Mediation / Arbitration / Trial: $90 per hour (up to $450)
