Duties
- Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately to handle retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with inquiries about the marina.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is visually appealing
- Maintain proper cash drawer handling procedures and perform daily cash register reconciliations
- Assist with inventory management by stocking products and conducting regular stock checks
- Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashier operations is essential
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer needs
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service abilities are required
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Experience in grocery store environments or with retail merchandising enhances your candidacy
Part time. Work hours would be 6:50am-12:30pm. Thursday mornings.
