The Capitana is currently hiring Guest Service Agents.
Opal Properties is one of Key West's premier hospitality employers, with 4 unique hotels: Opal Key West Resort, Sunset Key Cottages, The Laureate and The Capitana.
This position will check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; and process all payments according to established procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and follow check in/out procedures
- Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts
- Follow set polices regarding cash handling
- Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner
- Be aware of local attractions and restaurants and make recommendations to guests
- Handle incoming telephone calls and other guest communication in a professional manner
- Accurately communicate with other shifts regarding issues arising from day to day operations
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player
- Be punctual and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience using Microsoft Office and general computer operations
- Prior experience with OPERA preferred
