Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Reservationist to join our team. This role is essential for managing all aspects of reservations across various platforms, including phone, direct bookings, Airbnb, VRBO, and more. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and reservations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Reservations Management: Handle reservations from all channels, including phone, direct bookings, Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms. Ensure accurate and timely processing of bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
-Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and offering solutions to enhance their experience. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
-Sales Support: Utilize sales techniques to maximize booking opportunities and increase occupancy rates. Promote property features and benefits to potential guests to drive bookings.
-Platform Management: Monitor and manage reservation listings on various platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.), ensuring up-to-date information and competitive pricing. Address any issues or discrepancies that arise on these platforms.
-Guest Interaction: Assist guests with their needs before, during, and after their stay, including handling special requests and providing local recommendations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales and reservations, preferably in the hospitality or property management industry.
-Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bi-lingual a plus.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and familiarity with online booking platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and courteous demeanor with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Currently residing in Marathon, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
