Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting lawn care tools, gardening supplies, floral arrangements, and landscape maintenance products
- Maintain accurate stock levels through efficient stocking, merchandising, and inventory management
- Handle cashier responsibilities with accuracy, including operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for transactions including cash handling
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly to customers
- Organize and maintain a clean store, display to highlight seasonal items and promote sales opportunities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the store remains organized, clean, and inviting for shoppers
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of smoke shop products is a plus but not necessary, as we train
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures also a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers and working effectively within a team
- Organizational skills are important for stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and managing inventory efficiently
