This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client customer base in both the international and domestic freight arena. This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business. This individual should be a motivated customer sales representative with experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Primary:
- Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Utilize inside sales knowledge.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
- Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
Experience:
- High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, or a related field preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, sales, with a focus on International and Domestic Logistics Sales
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve
- Knowledge of current marketing and advertising trends and best practices
- Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office, and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales process

Pay: $45,817.15 - $55,177.64 per year
