K2 Project Management Solutions, a disaster management firm is seeking energetic, local, reliable individuals to serve as Debris Monitors to help several Florida communities respond and recover from Hurricane Helene. Debris Monitors will be responsible for monitoring the Hauler trucks as they clear debris while documenting their daily activities and ensuring that debris clean-up complies with federal regulations.
Employees will be provided the necessary job training. Expected schedule 6-7 days per week up to 12 hours per day. Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount
Requirements
- Ability to mobilize within 24-48 hours and commit to a minimum 30-day assignment in remote locations.
- Working long hourly shifts - Ability to work 10-12 hours a day and 6 days a week (subject to overtime pay where applicable)
- Stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Working in potentially unstable risky conditions
- Reside within commuting distance of the project area(s) (preferably within 35 miles)
- Must have or be able to provide your own steel toed boots and long pants
- Have a smart phone and charger with the ability to download apps
- Have excellent penmanship
- Be able to understand and comply with all safety requirements
- Provide your own reliable transportation
- Have and present a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Provide documentation that proves your identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to lift more than 25+ pounds and load onto shelves
- Ability to withstand constant exposure to outside elements including heat or cold depending on job location.
- Willing and able to work with contractors and crews on-site and report daily or as needed to assigned leadership/field supervisors as positive representatives of the company
- Willing and able to report to designated areas at assigned times.
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
