Overview
The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public spaces within the facility. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial or commercial cleaning, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure the facility meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
