We are seeking a Florida Fully Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Dade Correctional Institution located in Homestead, Florida (39 miles South of Miami).
The Inpatient Psychologist provides psychological leadership, consultation and direct services for patients in an assigned facility. The Inpatient Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients. This position will also supervise psychology interns and residents within the inpatient unit.
Qualifications:
- Must hold PsyD or PhD from a US APA accredited university program
- Must have successfully completed post-doc requirements
- Fully licensed in Florida as a Clinical Psychologist
- 5 years of experience working as a psychologist in an inpatient or locked setting
- Supervisory experience and willingness to supervise is required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Must be able to pass credentialing and background check
- Work legally in the United States without sponsorship
