The Office Manager sets the tone in the office for all visitors and those working in the office. The Office Manager welcomes all and maintains the office in excellence.
Responsibilities:
· Assists the Pastor with office procedures and tasks
· Welcomes all to the church office, answers the phone, assists with requests
· Opens mail and follows through
· Assists bookkeeper as needed
· Assists ministry area leaders as needed
· Maintains files, records, correspondence and contracts
· Assists with social media
· Assists with emails
· Prints weekly worship bulletin
· Assists with events and special projects
· Assists with equipment procurement and maintenance
· Helps implement office policies according to agreed procedures
· Assists with scheduling for the Pastor, building, and meetings
· Assists with volunteers to accomplish goals
Qualifications / Skills:
· Experience in MS Office – Word, Publisher, PowerPoint
· Written and Oral communication
Office Hours:
· Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Salary:
· $20 per hour

As the Office Manager at Metropolitan Community Church, you will be integral to maintaining efficient office operations and supporting the organization's mission. Reporting to the pastor, you will utilize your core skills in office management, communication, and organizational abilities to oversee daily administrative tasks. Your premium skills in event planning, vendor management, and budgeting will enhance community engagement and resource allocation. Additionally, your relevant experience in team management and Microsoft Office will ensure smooth coordination and effective collaboration within the church’s various programs and initiatives.
