We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and cooking equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
- Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen area regularly to maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations is beneficial.
- Experience in banquet or catering services is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service within the hospitality industry.
