Contract Title: Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic (CNAL) Organizational Level (O-Level) Maintenance Support
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required
Wage/Pay: $33.80/hr + Additional Rate: Health and welfare of $5.36 for each hour worked to be used for medical expenses/health benefits, any unused funds will be added to your hourly wage rate.
About the Role
Join a critical mission team supporting Naval aviation operations at NAS Key West! We are seeking a meticulous Aircraft Logs and Records Technician/Tech Manager to oversee and manage essential aircraft and engine maintenance records. This role is vital to maintaining operational readiness and compliance with maintenance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Contractor Field Team (CFT) Program, you will:
- Maintaining detailed logbooks and associated records for aircraft and engines.
- Performing all operator, data entry, and retrieval functions related to aircraft recordkeeping.
- Analyzing and correcting errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry across networked stations.
- Transmitting and receiving data using electronic means, including floppy disks, modems, and other methods.
- Extracting data to formulate and interpret management reports, creating archives, backups, and data saves to support deployments and detachment operations.
- Handling a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks, including preparing reports, correspondence, filing, typing, and performing database and systems analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Active Secret Clearance (mandatory).
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a logs and records technician for aircraft or in a similar capacity (preferred).
