ABOUT US:
Our busy real estate, eviction, foreclosure and bankruptcy law firm seeks to hire a 3-7 year bankruptcy attorney. We represent secured creditors, banks, lenders, investors and foreclosure trustees, in both transactional, litigation and bankruptcy matters in California. We are a growing firm and are looking for someone who is career oriented and ready to grow with our firm.
KEY JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans
- Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience required
- Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
- Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-7 years bankruptcy experience
- Admitted to Practice in California.
- Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research
- Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload
- A portable book of business is a plus

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
