Summary
Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a skilled Security Specialist to support and enhance security operations at a Department of Defense (DoD) facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and overseeing access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and physical security measures. This role requires expertise in security compliance, risk assessment, and personnel security processes, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and assets in accordance with DoD regulations.
EAccess Control & Intrusion Detection Management
- Administer and oversee access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and GSA-approved locks.
- Ensure compliance with AR 190-13 Physical Security Officer responsibilities.
- Monitor and manage entry control points for controlled access areas.
Security Audits & Risk Management
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate threats.
- Implement security enhancements and emergency response measures as needed.
- Oversee video surveillance and monitoring systems to maintain a secure environment.
Records & Compliance Management
- Maintain accurate security documentation, personnel records, and incident reports in compliance with DoD policies.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide customer service support for security-related inquiries and clearance processes.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in:
- SCI security within DoD or federal law enforcement agencies/organizations.
- Managing access/intrusion control systems, GSA-approved locks, and processing background investigations.
At least one (1) year of experience in:
- Operating video monitoring equipment and managing security-related databases.
- Prior experience as a Physical Security Officer (AR 190-13 compliance preferred).
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of GSA-approved locks, intrusion detection systems, and physical security measures.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective security controls.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Clearance Requirements
- An Active Top Secret Clearance is required. Must be able to maintain an Active Top Secret Clearance for the duration of the contract.
- Security Clearance information must be reflected on the candidate's resume. Candidates that do not include clearance information on their resume will not be considered.
Salary
- $23 - $28 per hour plus $4.93 per hour for Health & Welfare (H&W)
