Position Summary
The Finance Director will supervise the accounting staff, oversee the internal controls, setting financial targets, implement fund-raising strategies, work and engage with investors, develop a financial strategy, conduct feasibility studies, monitor expenditure, oversee annual insurance, monitor cash flow, evaluate investments, and managing tax compliance. It should have the ability to plan and direct the financial assets to assist our organization in the implementation of effective financial strategies to manage debts, improve revenues, maintain a healthy financial position, and enhance the investor confidence.

Essential Job Functions

· Directing financial planning and strategy.

· Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.

· Overseeing audit and tax functions.

· Developing and implementing accounting policies.

· Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.

· Training accounting staff.

· Reviewing departmental budgets.

· Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.

· Analyzing complex financial data.

· Managing internal controls.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably as a Director of Finance or similar position.
Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices.
Small Healthcare Experience preferred.
Expertise in financial analysis, including the ability to prepare detailed financial statements.
Experience in a major or regional accounting firm.
Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing finance teams effectively.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are preferred but not mandatory.
