Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are spotless and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, contributing to a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Bus tables and assist in clearing dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Help with catering events and banquet setups as required.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support other kitchen staff in various tasks including cooking, cleaning, and food handling when necessary.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Familiarity with bussing tables and serving in a hospitality setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
