We are committed to safety, quality, and integrity in everything we do. We're currently seeking experienced and reliable Experienced Construction Laborers to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
- Site Preparation: Cleaning and clearing construction sites, removing debris, and setting up materials and equipment.
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and distributing building materials, tools, and supplies.
- Groundwork: Digging trenches for pipes and utilities, and leveling earth or gravel.
- Concrete Work: Mixing and placing concrete and other materials, and assisting with concrete formwork.
- Demolition: Participating in demolition activities, including removing trees and old structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operating hand tools and construction machinery like pavement breakers, drills, pumps, and mixers.
- Assisting Skilled Trades: Helping tradespeople with tasks and tool maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Following safety guidelines and regulations, and performing site clean-up.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina & Strength: The ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a crew to support construction projects.
- Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for tasks requiring precision.
- Basic Math Skills: For measuring and other site calculations.
- Familiarity with Tools: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety.
- Attention to Detail: For following instructions and ensuring work quality.
Work Environment
- Outdoors: Laborers work outdoors in various weather conditions, often requiring physical labor.
- On-Site: The work is performed directly at construction sites, requiring physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
