Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all patrons receive outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar software.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about the menu and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy setting.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Experience in cash handling is essential for managing guest payments effectively.
- A background in culinary or food service is advantageous, particularly in a nightclub or high-energy environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
