As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proven In-Home Sales Leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential sales, experience leading multi-market teams, and the drive to expand our presence across the Southeast.
Position Overview
The In-Home Sales Leader & Strategic Planner plays a dual role — acting as both a strategic planner and a field-based leader. You’ll shape company-wide sales strategies, lead and mentor teams across multiple territories, and ensure Ridge Valley Exteriors continues to deliver industry-leading results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute growth strategies for residential and commercial markets across Florida and North Carolina.
- Lead, coach, and inspire high-performing sales teams to achieve consistent, sustainable growth.
- Partner with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Field Leadership & Team Development:
- Travel regularly (50–70%) to visit offices, train teams, and engage directly with customers and communities.
- Work alongside sales representatives in the field to model effective door-to-door and consultative sales techniques.
- Conduct team performance reviews and implement training programs to drive accountability and success.
- Market Expansion & Customer Engagement:
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, and referral partners.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to refine strategies.
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and sales metrics to ensure accuracy and performance accountability.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to optimize lead generation and project fulfillment.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and project processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in residential construction, roofing, or home improvement industries.
- Proven success leading multi-location or regional sales teams.
- Strong track record in both strategic planning and field-based (door-to-door) sales.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Business acumen with the ability to analyze performance data and make sound decisions.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Willing and able to travel frequently between markets in Florida and North Carolina.

Base Pay: $71,975.28 - $130,000.00 per year
