What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, driving customer interest and sales.
- Maintain store appearance through effective merchandising and organizing displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette during inquiries or order placements.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and participating in regular inventory counts.
Basic qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience in supervising staff or leading teams in a retail environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, particularly in a furniture store setting.
