The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall comfort of guest rooms and designated public areas. This role ensures all rooms meet high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while providing friendly and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish room amenities such as towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and linens
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, or missing items and report concerns promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
- Respond courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Adhere to company policies regarding guest privacy, lost and found, and safety
- Work efficiently to meet daily room assignment quotas
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and public area cleaning as needed
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred
- English required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push carts for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
