The Storekeeper is responsible for maintain accurate and efficient flow of line inventory and operating materials in and out of the Tavernier Warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive all material delivered to the warehouse.
- Unpack material and place it in the appropriate bins or storage area, and print labels with P/N#.
- Issue and record all material leaving the warehouse, including transfers to Marathon.
- Monitor inventory levels to purchase materials required to maintain stock levels and prepare requisitions on a barcoding device for the reorder of stock.
- Repair and recondition salvaged material.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.
- Dispense penetrants and solvents, paints, truck wash, hand cleaner, and drinking cups.
- Upon receipt of material tickets, set out the required material properly identified by Work Order.
- Sort, credit, and salvage material that has been scrapped.
- Issue and record all construction material requisitioned by contractors and others.
- Return all lineman's hand tools and line equipment to Warehouse Supervisor for replacement/repair under warranty.
- Sandblast, clean up, oil, and check parts to be put back in stock.
- Coordinate disposal of FKEC scrap wire.
- Enter new transformers into CIS and issue them a new property number.
- Coordinate pickup of transformers to be disposed of and send off ones to be repaired.
- Properly charge materials from work order item pick lists with a barcoding device.
- Ship materials UPS OR FED-EX for all departments as needed.
- Wash staff vehicles as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
- Must have knowledge of materials being issued
Additional Requirement:
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license. Must have or be able to obtain a Class A, Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must use cybersecurity best practices and use responsible conduct in online environments and while using email.
- Observe and practice all safety policies and rules.
- Extra hours may be necessary during emergencies or when the workload demands.
- Residency requirement: Worker for this position is required to live within the FKEC service territory.

Working Conditions:
Position requires heavy lifting, exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently, awkward work positions, and exposure to many adverse weather conditions. Physical demands include the ability to climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions. Must be able to read and write.
The worker is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, exposure to extreme heat, noise, vibration, physical hazards (exposure to chemicals, working on scaffolding and at high places, etc.), and atmospheric conditions (fumes, dusts, gases, etc.).
