JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate heavy equipment (Dump truck). • Drive to the landfill to dump debris 2 to 3 times a day. • Performs routine maintenance of tools and equipment used. • Clean and pressure wash play areas. • Periodically set up tables and chairs for community meetings. • Operate blowers, hedgers, weed eaters, pole saws and chainsaws. • Prunes and trims plants, shrubbery, and trees. • Plants and maintains trees, shrubbery, and plants. • Empty trashcans, recyclables, and transfer to disposal areas. • Perform heavy lifting, carrying, throwing and digging. • Remove household goods from around dumpsters, streets, curbs, etc… • Sweep and blow the surrounding areas as necessary for removal of debris. • Remove and haul household goods, trash and debris from vacant units. • Remove and dispose of animal carcasses. • Responsible to assist as necessary in the performance of related maintenance tasks. • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, the Deputy Executive Director, or the Executive Director and his or her designees.
