Florida Keys Electric, Inc. is a local electrical contractor providing electrical, low voltage, and fire alarm services throughout Key West and the Florida Keys. We’re a fast-paced, growing company with a strong team and a solid reputation.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our main office in Key West. This role is key to keeping daily operations running smoothly.
You’ll handle general office tasks, work closely with our team, and provide administrative support to the owner and office staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers and team members
- Schedule appointments, service calls, site visits, and meetings
- Prepare emails, correspondence, and proposals
- Assist with permit applications and project paperwork
- Maintain filing systems and company records
- Sort and distribute mail
- Order and track office supplies
- Run occasional office-related errands
- Maintain accurate contact lists
- Provide administrative support to the owner and management team
- Help manage daily office operations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a construction office is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
