Federman & Sherwood is looking for an attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil ligation to join their firm as an associate attorney. Federman & Sherwood is a boutique law firm with a national impact. With offices in Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida, Federman & Sherwood plays an active role in cutting edge complex and civil litigation including class actions.
As an associate attorney, you will help represent clients through all phases of litigation, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, assist with and make court appearances, negotiate settlements, interface with clients, participate in mediation, prepare cases for trial, and assist with trial proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years civil litigation experience
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar Association
- Graduated in top 20% of law school graduating class
- Law review, judicial clerkship or employment with state Attorney General is a plus
- Ability to problem solve
