Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fluent English Speaking Speech Therapist (CCC or CF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients in a school setting and possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to enhance communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Implement effective speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate families on strategies to support their child's speech development at home.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech therapy and pediatric care.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist CCC or CF.
- Experience in school settings is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and strategies for effective communication development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
