Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across various age groups, including pediatrics, adults, and seniors.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions by developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs while utilizing advanced clinical skills.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, laboratory specimen collection; interpret diagnostic imaging results to inform clinical decisions.
- Administer medications and injections responsibly while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards using EMR/EHR systems.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with specialiststo optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in case management activities including discharge planning, utilization review, telehealth consultations.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from recognized bodies.
- Demonstrated experience in diverse clinical environments.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems, experience with CPT coding and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Skilled in performing procedures such as suturing, venipuncture (phlebotomy), sterile processing techniques, sterile technique for invasive procedures like spinal taps or cardiac catheterization.
- Critical care experience.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
