Position Overview
We are seeking a driven Associate Attorney with litigation experience who is interested in plaintiff-side employment work and is comfortable managing cases from intake through litigation. This role offers significant responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on clients’ lives.
The position is remote, with monthly in-person meetings in the West Palm Beach area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff-side employment law cases from intake through litigation
- Draft complaints, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Take and defend depositions; attend hearings and court proceedings
- Develop case strategy and work closely with clients
- Handle settlement negotiations and mediations
- Maintain case deadlines and manage a litigation caseload independently
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Florida bar license and good standing
- 2–5 years of litigation experience (required)
- Employment law or plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must reside in Florida
Work Environment & Expectations
- Fully remote position
- Monthly in-person meetings in the West Palm Beach area
- Monthly billable requirement of 130 hours
