- Balasky Veterinary Associates is seeking a full time technician to join our team. Our practice is based on providing exceptional client and patient care and we are looking for an individual who shares our commitment. An applicant must have a strong work ethic, positive mindset and a good team attitude.
- Duties are as follows but not limited to strong client communication,
- Assist in veterinarian in exam rooms and with animal restraint,
- Place IV catheters and perform blood draws
- Operate in-house blood machines or send out to Idexx Laboratories
- Perform surgical prep and anesthesia monitoring during surgery as well as in recovery, and assisting at the front desk.
- Individual should be open to a flexible schedule and available to work a half day on Saturdays.
- Cornerstone knowledge helpful but can be trained
