Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber/Tree Trimmer and play a vital role in maintaining healthy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing urban and rural landscapes. In this energetic position, you will utilize your climbing skills, arborist rigging techniques, and tree care expertise to perform precise pruning, trimming, and removal of trees. Your work will ensure public safety, promote healthy growth, and enhance the beauty of outdoor environments.
Duties
- Safely climb trees using specialized climbing gear and rigging techniques to access difficult areas.
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal with precision to promote healthy growth or eliminate hazards.
- Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment for elevated work tasks.
- Use chainsaws and other hand tools efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Apply arborist rigging techniques for complex tree removals or branch lowering operations.
- Execute plant pruning care and general tree care practices to maintain landscape health and aesthetics.
- Assist with land clearing, landscaping, lawn care, and growing projects as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during outdoor work activities.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, horticulture, or arboriculture is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal techniques.
- Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques for safe tree dismantling operations.
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence in all aspects of outdoor work environments.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
