PART TIME - SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY
Overview:
The Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is seeking an individual to provide the ideal visitor experience to those visiting the area. Candidates must possess a sincere interest in visitors – placing them first and ensuring they have a positive experience – in person, on the phone, or through written communication. If you have excellent organizational skills and enjoy working with the public, we would love to hear from you. Must be dependable and able to work Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am.-5:00p.m. and fill in as needed on occasion during the week. Military, Military Spouses, Retirees, and College Students encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide general customer support via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Provide administrative support to Executive Director
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Process Credit Card Payments
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is a plus
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite as well as being able to use the internet, and web based programs)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and other office equipment is preferred
